Position: Assistant Manager IT
Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining and administering computer server and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

2. Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups.

3. Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing server security measures.

4. Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving server hardware, software, and other network and server problems.

5. Replacing faulty server hardware components when required.

6. Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.

7. Monitoring server performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.

8. Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of server and computer systems.

9. Coordinating computer server access and use.

10. Designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.

11. Be familiar with Firewalls and Corporate Antivirus Implementation

12. Knowledge of Mailing Servers and cloud email Solutions.

13. Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.

14. Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.

15. Train staff about potential uses of existing technology.

16. Provide individual training and support on request.

17. Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.

18. Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.

19. Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access.

20. Troubleshoot all technical issues.

21. Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources.

22. Research current and potential resources and services.

23. Monitor security of all technology.

24. Install and maintain Foolproof and passwords.

25. Input and maintain IP addresses.

26. Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status.

27. Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Skills:
1. CCNA, MCITP, MCSE 2012, Virtualization Knowledge, MCSA, A+, .

2. Be Familiar with Open Source Platforms (FreeNas, Pfsense)

3. Be Familiar with Servers Virtualization Technology on Microsoft Hypervisor, VSphere, and VMware.

4. Well experienced on Microsoft Operating System 2008 – 2016 R2 (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, IIS, Backing-up OS, FSRM, DFS, Group Policy, Wireless Networking)

5. Proactively shares information and works in mutual learning environment, seen as a leader by all of his team.

6. Willingness to adapt the way of approaching an issue without actually adapting own tactics.

7. Considered as a personality who will not compromise on company policies and procedures in any given situation; seen as role model for portraying as a true professional.

8. English and Urdu Communication /skills (both written & oral).

9. Highly Motivated & Energetic and have a huge Appetite for Work & Growth.

10. Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools particularly expertise in worked, excel and power point.

11. Excellent time management and teamwork.

12. Ability to manage multiple tasks.

13. Should possess knowledge and skills of all IT functions.

14. Good negotiation and People skills.

1. Maintains information technology strategies by managing users; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.

2. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

3. Timely and accurate resolution of escalated Network issues including.

4. Regular monitoring of network performance and capacity issues.

5. Abrupt resolutions of network outages and downtime.

6. Timely response to security issues and breaches.

7. Creation and maintenance of documentation for all customer and internal networks.

8. Maintain high quality 24/7 operations of all the company’s IT systems and interests.

9. Significant input into new technology design and new IT service implementation.
